The IV Placement & Venipuncture Essentials class is a fast-paced, hands-on training designed to help you build confidence and proficiency in intravenous access and specimen collection. Led by an experienced ICU RN and Certified Phlebotomist, this comprehensive course covers proper IV insertion techniques, venipuncture skills, and best practices for patient safety and comfort. Whether you are new to IV placement or looking to refine your technique, this class provides expert instruction and hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment.

Worry free! No students will be stuck or required to stick others. Our hands-on practice is done exclusively on brand-new, state-of-the-art mannequins, ensuring a safe, stress-free learning experience for everyone.
 

Using brand-new, state-of-the-art mannequins, students will practice IV insertion and venipuncture without the pressure of working on live subjects. Our engaging, four-hour session ensures you leave with the essential skills needed for real-world application. Upon successful completion, students will receive a same-day certification valid for two years.

  • 10am to 2:30pm (includes 30 min lunch break)

  • Choose from Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday

  • Foundational knowledge of IV therapy, blood withdrawal techniques, safety protocols, and legal considerations.

  • Hands-on training in IV insertion, blood draw techniques, and troubleshooting common complications using state-of-the-art equipment.

  • Practical skills assessment to ensure competency.
